A ideia de criar o Apple Pie nasceu em 2023. Vivenciando uma mudança de vida, comecei a me exercitar e, com isso, a corrida passou a fazer parte da minha rotina. Junto a um casal de amigos que também estava vivendo essa transformação, criamos o grupo de corrida Orange Group & Running Club. A criação do nosso coletivo surgiu do desejo de viver novos momentos e de trazer nosso estilo para a corrida.

The idea of creating Apple Pie was born in 2023. Going through a life change, I started exercising, and running soon became part of my routine. Together with a couple of friends who were also experiencing this transformation, we created the running group Orange Group & Running Club.
Our collective was born from the desire to live new moments and bring our own style to running.

Primeiro veio o nome e, com ele, surgiu uma grande necessidade de criar uma mascote para o grupo. Então, comecei a rascunhar algumas ideias de laranja. Após muitos testes e camadas refeitas, cheguei a esta versão final.
First came the name, and with it, the strong need to create a mascot for the group. So I started sketching some orange concepts. After many tests and reworked layers, I arrived at this final version.
Após encontrar a forma final do Apple Pie e definir todas as suas características, comecei a me aventurar em traços e estilos para, pouco a pouco, ir consolidando o personagem.

A ideia do OG&RC é crescer e se transformar em um coletivo cada vez maior, englobando diversos esportes. Por isso, estou sempre pensando em novos personagens — e daí nasceu a nossa tenista, que é um limão-siciliano. Ela ainda não tem nome, mas foi um exercício interessante de se fazer. Nossa intenção é criar algo como a "turma do Orange Group", em que cada fruta represente um esporte.
The idea behind OG&RC is to grow and evolve into an ever-expanding collective that embraces different sports. That’s why I’m always thinking of new characters — and that’s how our tennis player, a Sicilian lemon, was born. She doesn’t have a name yet, but it was a fun and meaningful exercise to create her. Our goal is to build something like the “Orange Group crew,” where each fruit represents a different sport
